Dr. Jane Goodall is the most influential leader in the field of primatology who has a legacy of major first-time discoveries regarding chimpanzees that is still noticeable today. The Jane Goodall Institute has been formed through the legacy of Goodall's work, and it demonstrates the importance of her findings. One of Jane's programs, Roots & Shoots, shows the legacy of her work by encouraging youth to become active members of their communities. Dr. Goodall also encourages the reforestation of Tanzania through TACARE.
